Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
In a recent statement, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey from Godda, Jharkhand, has drawn a comparison between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shankaracharya, asserting that both serve the society in a similar spirit. This observation comes at a pivotal moment when all four Shankaracharyas are abstaining from attending the upcoming Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Temple, scheduled for January 22nd.
Dubey's comments on PM Modi's commitment to society coincide with the reluctance of the Shankaracharyas, particularly Jyotirpeeth's Shankaracharya Swami Avimuktershwaranand Saraswati, who stated that the Ram Temple is not yet fully prepared for consecration. He emphasizes that an incomplete temple cannot be subjected to Pran Pratistha and criticizes the unscriptural manner in which the consecration is being conducted.
While other Shankaracharyas have not openly opposed the Pran Pratistha, they are notably absent from the program in Ayodhya city.
